It's time for a change of scenery!
Come visit us at The Parsonage, a historic landmark inn.
Please note that we do require a two-night minimum stay.
We look forward to reopening The Parsonage and to welcoming you into our home. While we have been closed, we have been reviewing each part of our operation to ensure that our guests and our family remain healthy as we reopen.
We are fortunate that we have a spacious home for your visit. The sleeping rooms and public spaces are large with high ceilings and generous dimensions. In the Victorian tradition, guest bedrooms have no central heating system and all have windows to let in light and fresh air.
We are also fortunate to be small enough to never host crowds of guests. We are located in the center of the city and have many restaurants and sites within easy walking distance of our front door.
Although we have always maintained rigorous cleaning standards we will be increasing our attention to frequently sanitizing all touchable surfaces. We are attempting to schedule our guests’ visits so that rooms are cleaned, locked and held vacant for 24 hours before each new guest’s arrival.
If you are a returning guest, you will notice a few changes in our operation. For instance, the abundance of reading material will be removed from the public rooms and small decorations will be removed from the guest rooms. You will be asked to schedule your breakfast times in advance to ensure that guests remain at safe distances while dining. Since self-service is no longer possible we will be asking your meal preferences in advance. Face covering and hand sanitation will be the standard for family and guests.
Some things won’t change. Your room will still be furnished in antiques; art work will still deck the walls and you will still be sleeping on handmade McRoskey mattresses made especially for The Parsonage.
We look forward to offering you the opportunity to experience a change of scene, relax and enjoy our hospitality.
